Dr. Kevin Howard, D.C. is the director of the Howard Chiropractic Clinic which opened March 4, 1991. The clinic is located in the Brentwood Professional Building at 3103 West Stolley Park Road. Dr. Howard completed his pre-chiropractic training at Kearney State College in Kearney, Nebraska. He then attended Logan Chiropractic College in St. Louis, Missouri where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree and Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Biology. Dr. Howard completed his internship at the Montgomery Outpatient Clinic from July 1982 to August 1983. After graduation he associated with Jim Groene, D.C. in Schuyler, Nebraska, and with Dr. Ed Possin, D.C. in Omaha, Nebraska from September 1983 to May 1984.

Dr. Howard then established the Howard Chiropractic Clinic in Hastings, Nebraska and was the director from June 1984 to January 1987. He then turned the practice over to his associate before moving to Colorado and practiced in Littleton, Colorado from 1987 through 1990.

After living and practicing chiropractic in Littleton, Colorado for 3 years, Dr. Howard moved back to central Nebraska with his wife, Shelli and daughters Alyson and Courtney. The Howard family has been in Grand Island since September 1990 and enjoy the "Good Life" of Nebraska and the friendliness of the community. Since the Howards are originally from Benkelman, Nebraska, living in Grand Island is almost like being home again.

The Howard Chiropractic Clinic is equipped to deliver a variety of diagnostic, therapeutic and high technological services. Dr. Howard specializes in the treatment of on-the-job injuries, auto injuries, family care, children and sports injuries. The clinic has a x-ray facility, two examination rooms and a computerized business office. The nine table rehabilitative physical therapy area consists of many forms of therapy, electric muscle stimulation, intersegmental traction, long axis traction and heat and cold therapy.

Dr. Howard is licensed to practice in Nebraska and Colorado. He is certified by Physicians Academy Procedures including Cat Scan, video flourscopy, myography, medical/legal aspects in the court room, thermograph, EKG's nerve conduction, disability ratings and traumatic injuries of the spine to name a few. Additionally, Dr. Howard attends continuing education seminars frequently to stay current on the latest chiropractic advances.
